When you first contact us, we will talk you through the way we work and, without obligation, provide you with a written estimate based on your outline requirements. We can do this face-to-face in one of our showrooms in Blackburn or Blackpool or, if it is difficult for you to travel to us, then we will come and see you in your own home.
Things you will wish to consider include selecting the right granite and the likely words and images. A good starting point is right here on our website, which has a comprehensive selection of colours and styles, together with examples of inscriptions and other information.
This website also enables you to click onto 3D drawings showing full details of the range. To make it easy, most of our designs, shapes, colours and finishes of granite can be interchanged, so please talk to us when you see a sample you like.
As part of our service, we will then provide free memorial drawings showing your chosen words and design. These are available either via email, enabling you to share with family and friends; for personal collection from our showrooms; or can be posted to your home.
We believe it is important that everyone involved in the decision making process has the opportunity to see the drawing and discuss the ideas. We are happy to alter drawings as many times as necessary and want to ensure all details such as names, dates and other information are 100% correct before we reach the granite cutting stage.
A new online innovation, which is proving extremely popular, is a “live screen share” option, which allows our customers to log-in live to see our designers at work first hand through a shared computer screen.
To gain access, customers simply need to call the Blackburn office number 01254 202019 for a special log-in code. It enables them to watch their chosen memorial being designed on screen and make comments in real time until they are happy with the end result. A copy of the drawing is then emailed to them for final approval.
Once the design is finalised, we will start work and do our best to meet your requested timetable. We realise this is especially important if you wish to have the memorial erected to meet a special occasion, such as a birthday or anniversary, and you will see from our testimonials that we regularly not only meet, but often exceed, our customers’ expectations.
We will also take care of all the necessary rules and regulations with regard to the churchyard, cemetery or crematorium.
