Description
Our Mini Kerb Surround (with one piece cover slab) is a great way to mark and maintain the area just in front of the headstone without the extra cost of covering the full length of the grave.
The standard mini kerbs (as per photo) extend in front of the headstone by 18″, the kerbs measure 3″ x 3″ and have a width of 2’9″.
Do you want this memorial a different size? Prefer a different coloured granite?
ALL of our memorials can be made to your BESPOKE requirements.
Are Kerb and Cover Surrounds allowed in all Cemeteries and Churchyards?
No; it is important to check with our office that either Kerb or Cover Surrounds are allowed in your cemetery or churchyard.
Cemetery and Churchyard Fees
Most Cemeteries and Churchyards will charge a fee for the ‘right to memorial kerb surrounds or cover surrounds’ – you can view the current fees by searching for your Cemetery or Churchyard at the top of this page (top right) or by calling our office.
Colour Guide
Each of our different coloured granites are carefully sourced from the best quarries available and are all equal in quality and durability – the main territories include China, India, Scandinavia and the UK.
Price differences with the granites occur simply due to wastage at the quarry or availability. The reason for ‘wastage’ is not all granite taken from the ground is suitable for using at monumental level (i.e. a headstone), this ‘wastage’ is often passed onto manufactures of kitchen work surfaces.
Our most expensive granite is called ‘Blue Pearl’ and this incurs considerable wastage due the nature of this sparkly natural stone.
