About Us
The Way We Work
When you first contact us, we will talk you through the way we work and, without obligation, provide you with a written estimate based on your outline requirements. We can do this face-to-face in one of our showrooms in Blackburn or Blackpool or via email, post and telephone.
Things you will wish to consider include selecting the right granite and the likely words and images. A good starting point is right here on our website, which has a comprehensive selection of colours and styles, together with examples of inscriptions and other information.
To make it easy, most of our designs, shapes, colours and finishes of granite can be interchanged, so please talk to us when you see a sample you like.
As part of our service, we will then provide free memorial drawings showing your chosen words and design. These are available either via email, enabling you to share with family and friends; for personal collection from our showrooms; or can be posted to your home.
We believe it is important that everyone involved in the decision making process has the opportunity to see the drawing and discuss the ideas. We are happy to alter drawings as many times as necessary and want to ensure all details such as names, dates and other information are 100% correct before we reach the granite cutting stage.
Once the design is finalised, we will start work and do our best to meet your requested timetable. We realise this is especially important if you wish to have the memorial erected to meet a special occasion, such as a birthday or anniversary, and you will see from our testimonials that we regularly not only meet, but often exceed, our customers’ expectations.
We will also take care of all the necessary rules and regulations with regard to the churchyard, cemetery or crematorium.
