Meet the Stevenson Memorials Team

Managing Director Brent Stevenson is well-known and respected within the industry and has previously held roles as both honorary treasurer and as a member of the management of the National Association of Memorial Masons (NAMM). Brent was actively involved in the preparation of the NAMM Code of Working Practice and previously served on the NAMM technical committee. He is also a member of the Memorial Awareness Board (MAB), which works to raise the public profile of the memorial industry. Co-directors of the business are Brent’s sons James and Daniel, along side godson Greg Wharf.

Both Brent and James are qualified Memorial Safety Inspectors and offer free safety assessments for any Lancashire churchyards who wish to assess the safety of their memorials.

Production Director James Stevenson joined the business in 1999 and today heads up the management of the works team alongside skilled sandblaster Peter Willetts, who has over 25 years’ experience in the industry.

Matt Turner, Jack Aspinall & Lea Thompson are responsible for preparing and fixing the memorials in cemeteries and churchyards.

Providing support on the administration and financial sides of the business in Blackburn is Brent’s eldest son and fellow Director Daniel Stevenson.

We then have Annette Murray who is responsible for managing all day to day activity at our Blackpool office.

The final member of our team is Marketing Director Greg Wharf, who oversees all marketing and design aspects of the business, alongside sales.

Greg is also Brent’s godson – keeping it all in the family.

British Register of Accredited Memorials Masons (BRAMM)

BRAMM (British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons) Scheme was set up in 2004 with the aim of establishing a network of nationally accredited businesses and registered fixers that will ultimately replace individual Registration Schemes.
